Applicants with two or more years’ experience preferred
Qualifications for employment are subject to the regulations and guidelines mandated by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.

Applicants must be certified in the following:

Medication Management
Basic CPR/First-Aid
Behavioral Management (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
Food Safety

Applicant who accepts employment in a direct consumer care position (or supervises a direct consumer care position) must undergo fingerprinting and a criminal background check.
Applicant who accepts employment in a direct consumer care position (or supervises a direct consumer care position) shall obtain a statement of certification by a qualified licensed practitioner indicating the absence of tuberculosis.
